Reader Reviews:The Faithful River Stefan Zeromski (1/2 people found this helpful)This novel is set during the various uprisings in Poland. The writer describes in detail battle scenes and the invasions the Poles had to endure. It's a very political novel with a healthy dose of history and feminism. I dont believe that this is bedtime reading as it is very factual and descriptive. The Faithful River however is an enjoyable read, however perhaps not for the faint hearted.
