I love it! This book has been the answer to all my fashion drawing dilemmas. It explains techniques of fashion drawing and fashion design in really simple, basic steps that everyone can understand even if they have never picked up a pencil!
It shows you how to draw female and male poses, and even has a section on children and costume design! Faces, hands and feet were my nightmare and, using simple exercises and sketches, this book has made it all so easy.
It has excellent illustrations and fashion drawings, clothing/flats, fashion figures and templates. And the presentation chapter and portfolio chapters are really helpful. Every page is an inspiration! Buy this book now and, like me, I am sure you will never regret it!

This book is one of my best and most useful fashion book purchases. It makes fashion drawing fun, the techniques are really simple and easy to follow, it is full of different styles of fashion illustrations which has inspired me, and given me the confidence to develop my own fashion drawing style.
There is great section on fashion templates and clothing design.....my fashion drawing has really improved since I bought this book...I recommend it to all fashion students.

If you are studying fashion or want to be a fashion designer you have to be able to draw reasonably well and meet fashion industry standards. This book makes drawing fashion figures, faces, hands, feet and clothing all so straightforward and simple. And the chapters on creating presentations and your design portfolio are also really important if you are serious about entering the fashion industry!
Every page is full of images - drawing techniques, drawing exercises, fashion illustrations and fashion designs. It has explanatory text, but not too much, just the right amount so that you can get on with the creative side of fashion drawing and illustration.
It really is a fabulous book.......a must have!

What a great book!! It got me sketching fashion figures so
quickly...even the faces and hands!!! It took the mystery out of fashion
illustration, and has made me feel full of confidence to develop my
drawing skills further. I want to be a menswear designer and it has a
great section on sketching men as well. And I found the section on
getting my portfolio together really helpful. Fantastic for fashion
students everywhere!

There is some excellent advice on drawing fashion illusrations/ figures in this book. It is great for getting some movement into your drawings but it reminded me of a science school text book in its presentation. I found the fact that all images & photos are in Black & white very uninspiring.
