DVD content is faulty (2/3 people found this helpful)
The previous version of this book came very highly recommended by all Final Cut professionals so it was a natural choice to go for.
The book looks clearly layed out and easy to follow. However the DVD would not copy all of the files to my mac Pro. They were corrupt. This has also happened to my colleague who is now on his 2nd DVD (after returning the first) only to find the second the same. For this reason I cannot recommend such an accredited title.
I have contacted both publisher and author's company regarding the matter, neither of which seem it necessary to reply to my query.
I think this is awful customer service from all parties concerned - and shoddily put together accompanying DVD.
