Reader Reviews:Actual fish dishes the average person is likely to cook... (2/2 people found this helpful)This is the best Fish cookery book I have found. The recipes are realistically things that can be cooked in the average household, and the recipes are written in an easy to follow way. Most 'seafood' cookery books I find are mostly about crab, mussels and other shellfish, whereas this book focuses on simple but tasty dishes to make with whole fish or fish fillets. The pictures in the book are stunning and make it a beautifully produced book, though they are mostly for aesthetic appeal rather than being pictures of the finished dishes. The book aims to make the general fish fan aware of overstocked resources and the best fish to choose in order to be kinder to the environment, and these sections of the book are well worth reading when you first peruse the recipes. A very worthy book from the National Trust. Similar Products101 Fish & Seafood Dishes: Tried-and-tested Recipes (Good Food 101) CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
