A great visual useful guide, covers all areas needed to edit successfully in FCP. Complete novices like me will welcome the colour pics and diagrams as they take you through the step by step guides for each action. Related books tend to rely more on text and the use of black and white images, which seem to hold you back from actually getting your hands diry with the editing. A great book!

As a regular FCP user I have read many books on digital video editing and I have to say this ranks with the very best. Whether you are a first time user or a FCP veteran there is something for you in the book. It is well illustrated throughout and is jargon free. You can dip into the book (a good index helps you get to where you need to be quickly) or just run through the chapters with or without the program running. Also for this price it is unbeatable !
