Reader Reviews:

4/5 stars

Science wrapped up in a fascinating biographical parcel (1/1 people found this helpful)

Galileo's Daughter was both an entertaining and educational read. It covered the interdependent relationship between Galileo and his highly-intelligent daughter, the many difficulties of Galileo's long life, and yet at the same time it accomplished the impressive feat of clearly explaining Galileo's feats of science to the non-scientist. I give it four stars rather than five because the title is slightly misleading - it's much more about Galileo than his daughter - and that did disappoint me.
