Recently purchased this book although I've had an Intel Macbook for 18 months but have not up graded to Leopard (and Garageband 4). This is a commendable introduction to the workings of the intuitive and exciting Garageband world. Its well laid out and is easy to follow once you have downloaded the DVD lesson plan format. I thought the content of some of the early lesson tracks was dubious and some what unmusical (to my ears) but this is a relatively small criticism because the idea is that you manipulate the content of these tracks anyway in order to become familiar with the system. Overall this book is a sound investment.
