Reader Reviews:Flawed Genius (1/1 people found this helpful)A revealing account of a footballer with as many stories to tell from his off field activities as for how he fared on the pitch.
Best Autobiography Ive read!!! (0/0 people found this helpful)This is the best autobiography Ive ever read. He is so honest, not leaving out one thing because it might embarress him, or get him in trouble. Its brilliantly written, and the subtle swearing makes it even more enjoyable. Even if you dont like football, you will enjoy this autobiography! Interesting (0/3 people found this helpful)At what point in this book are we to feel sorry for the multi talented, multi millionaire (obviously at some time) debauched Kid who had it all.Yes it's interesting to read,as all englishmen love a loser!!But other than wanting our empathy I really don't see the point in this.Incidently, you can certainly tell this book wasn't ghost written - Author only!! Demons (0/0 people found this helpful)Brutally frank and honest, tormented by many demons.
direct and honestly (1/2 people found this helpful)Actually when i first saw him in Italia 90, but as a clear object in Euro 96. He was excllent skill if he managed to score extras in semi he would be national hero because England could win the cup.
