Glasgow Tales is a down to earth collection of the highs and lows, that we all share by simply being human. All the tales offer a wide variety of literary flavours, from the comic to the tragic, from the pessimistic to the hopeful, there is something to suit everyone's taste.

4/5 stars

A snapshot of contemporary Glasgow (0/0 people found this helpful)

This book of stories is varied and wide ranging but it definitely gives a clear picture of what Glasgow is like in 2005. The writers have various connections with the city and there are no two stories that are alike. Each story started from a quotation and the source of these quotations is interesting in itself. Well worth reading!
