Surely the best road map of New Zealand (0/0 people found this helpful)
We bought this map so that we could navigate our way around New Zealand on our two-island road tour. We were not disappointed. I like to see lots of colours on a map depicting landscape and elevation, and this map gave it all in glorious technicolour (without being too intrusive). Roads were easy to pick out, and each were recorded in loving detail, even dirt tracks leading into the mountains. Towns and villages were represented with coded circles and descriptive font to give you an idea of their size. As an added bonus all of the Lord Of The Rings film sites were recorded, although it would have been really nice to know which particular scenes were associated with each of the locations. My only gripe (and this can be levelled at many fold-out maps) is that the map can be a bit of a struggle when you are unfolding it in the passenger's seat!
