Reader Reviews:Good science - no evidence for god (0/0 people found this helpful)I found this book to be a great explanation of the science behind cosmology, but his sole argument seems to be based upon the fact that science doesn't provide 100% guarantees, only theories.
Balanced review of the origin of the universe (2/3 people found this helpful)This book will interest anyone interested in cosmology and the place of God in the subject. David Wilkinson is both a scientist and a methodist minister and brings both of these aspects of his life together in this well argued book on origins. The science is as well explained as in many of the other books which try to bring this subject to the lay person, and the theology is honest and well argued. He majors on the views of Stephen Hawking as the title suggests, and Hawking's view that science leaves no room for God in the universe. Wikinson argues, covincingly, against this.
