Reader Reviews:Very Cheap, Very Good (0/0 people found this helpful)I guess what struck me first about this book is the weight and feel of the pages. It feels like an expensive book built to last. Fantastic!
The man's a genius... and he doesn't know it! (0/0 people found this helpful)I can't believe this has got any negative reviews. I bought it to take on holiday and it's the perfect holiday read. Had me in stitches, going "Oh my God - that's happened to me!" Karl is a genius - yet he rather modestly doesn't seem to be aware of it. It's a great book to dip in and out of, but I read it cover to cover in a day... just wish it had been longer! Will leave it on my bookshelf and dust it off to re-read the next time I jet off. Roundy Manc (0/1 people found this helpful)Listen, the NME podcast wasn't enough. No monkey news, no diary> Karl needs to commit to something regular. Sort it out Karl, dancing around in a hairy outfit on a grown up show is all well and good but its not a full use of your tallents. Sort it out! who is karl pilkington ? (0/0 people found this helpful)who is karl pilkington?i cant help feeling that the person he pretends to be is an imaginary simple person who only exists in his own mind.all i can say is he makes me laugh and i enjoyed every page of this book.
One of the funniest books i've ever read (0/0 people found this helpful)This book is brilliant, karl is basically the worst philosipher on the planet earth, and his head is similarily shaped to the planet earth aswell. its often his digressions in the book which are the funniest, he can't seem to stay on one topic for too long before he's off on a hilarious rant. If you've never even heard of him you should definately give this book a read. and do some more podcasts you bald manc git!
