As always a Maeve Binchy book that immediately draws you into it, making you feel as though you already know the characters and have met them before, infact many of the characters in this book have featured in more recent books by Maeve Binchy. The setting of a heart clinic in a hospital was an odd choice, but sort of worked, and the main character Clara was a little dull compared to some of the other characters in the book. But an easy read, a perfect book for snuggling up infront of the fire on a cold night to read!

I have not read it yet to be honest even if I received it long time ago:) yet the book was good value for what I paid and it was in very good condition.

I am a massive Maeve Binchy fan and this book does not disappoint. Lots of characters from previous novels. I couldn't stop reading it but didn't want the book to end. Loved it.

I hadn't read a Maeve Binchy book in years, but once I picked this one up I was reminded how warmly she writes books and how likeable her characters are. I really enjoyed the first half of this book, it was a real page turner and I loved all the characters and the story of the clinic. But the last few chapters ruined it for me. I thought that they were meandering all over the place, like just trying to finish the story and tie up all the loose ends. I just felt that they were half-hearted and it was a case of the author trying to just get the job done. It is a pity as a lot of her novels are very enjoyable, but this wouldn't be up there with her best

Fantastic read - Maeve Binchy has woven her magic again. I couldn't put the book down and was disappointed when I finished it, not beacuse of the story but beacuse I had come to the end of the book!!!!
