Reader Reviews:Sweet Book (0/0 people found this helpful)My daughter and I enjoyed this book and it is a nice way to approach the subject of what happens after we die. The only thing I didn't like was the reference to where you go if you haven't behaved yourself during your life. This isn't something I'm interested in teaching my daughter but it only takes up a couple of pages and if you don't mind that approach then its a great book. An appealing and light-hearted children's story. (23/23 people found this helpful)A lucky school library find; my children enjoyed this almost as much as I did. The simple illustrations were a perfect accompaniment to the slightly irreverent text. There are sufficient cheeky bits to keep snigger-happy children entertained, whilst the story is poignant enough to appeal to the more solemn amongst them. It would create a useful opening to allow discussion of what might happen when someone dies, whether from a religious or secular point of view. Or you could just enjoy it, as we did.
