I thought when I first read the blurb of Hetty Feather that it would be quite boring and old fashioned because of the Victorian era - well, was I proven wrong! I'm amazed at Wilsons skill to make a book based in the Victorian period as exciting and worth reading as she did! I loved it - and the font was clear and easy to read. The parts where the circus came to town were excellently described - I felt as if I was there watching everything before me! I would reccomend this heart felt book to mainly girls (though alot of boys might enjoy this as much as I did) under fourteen. Enjoy!!

I have read all of Jacqueline Wilson's books and i thought nothing could beat "My Sister Jody". But i was wrong. this book beat it by miles! This book is the best Jacqueline Wilson book there is!

I am starting this review as my daughter is going to tell you all about it
hetty feather is an orphan who lives with her brothers and sisters. Jem Gideon Saul Martha Rosie and Eliza and marcus and bess and nora.She has a squireel hosue she loves her brother so much. when she is 5 years old she goes to a big hospital and dosen't have friends Harriet plays with her and Polly but Ida the kitchen maid is her real mother, hetty feather is a really good book because it has a lot of stories about her ,the characters are good Hetty is the best her real name is Sapphire.i am eight and it is the best jaquline wilson book ever.I have a lot of her books and that is the best.
