Reader Reviews:Hard for a beginner (2/5 people found this helpful)Having recently visited Lebanon I was eager to learn more about Hezbollah and politics in the Middle East. The book is thorough and perhaps more accessible to a more seasoned reader of Middle East politics. There is a lot to take in and analysis is often left as an afterthought to the endless historical details. It's easy to get lost as the structure of each chapter could be made easier for the reader to follow. An overview at the start of each chapter and a tighter more coherent structure would have been preferred.
