Reader Reviews:over-rated (1/2 people found this helpful)it was an ok book, weak characters and an unoriginal plot really spoil it though. The God character is very whiny and needy, always demanding people worship him or going schizo and nuking every goon that looks at him cross eyed with lashings of brimstone. Satan on the other hand, is all you could want in a fictional super villain, he really saves the sequel (which is also packaged in the book) because that hippy guy with the frigid mother they introduce half way through makes it nearly unreadable.
What a book (0/1 people found this helpful)Loved the whole book, great ending. Can't wait to read the next installment. We can only hope it is as thrilling as this one! Smashing Read! (12/13 people found this helpful)This is just like Lord of the Rings, same amount of beards, but with more donkeys and less horses! not bad (1/5 people found this helpful)bit dated, bit contradictory, could have benefited from an energetic and skilled editor. Not as good as the movie, but well I am looking forward to the sequel FULL OF....MIRACLES AND STUFF. (10/13 people found this helpful)For me, the greatest miracle in the bible is when joshua told his son to stand still and he obeyed him.
