This book is well written, but is not for the absolute beginner.Some of the concepts he covers,although they might be interesting, are not relevant.Book came out in 2003, so quite a bit is out of date

As a home recording beginner with some knowledge of technology I found this book amazingly simple to get into and follow. I have since bought other books by Paul White as they all seem to be accessible and inexpensive.
