This book shows in a clear, accessible form the best way to make a decent film. Now that it's easy to make films using software such as Ilife etc this book is really useful ! Well worth buying if you want to make films that aren't just full of tacky graphics and pointless zooming.

This is an excellent handbook. I've worked in television and film making for years and found it full of useful information. It needs to be on every media student's essential reading list and I would recommend it as the starting point for anyone setting out to make a film or video. AHE
