Reader Reviews:If you want a book on sound web design this is it! (0/0 people found this helpful)For a long while I've been concerned that web design has been governed by technology and not content. Look on many bookshelves and web design books are either html books or books promoting specific applications. This book is different - it starts off by looking at design priciples and whenever it talks about technology, it's always in the context of the plan for the site. You never get the feel of technology fo the sake of technology. I'd recommend this to anyone whose appraoch to web design is design, rather than code, based. The Book the graphics what can I say?? (2/2 people found this helpful)Saw the book on a shelf in a book shop, picked it up read a few random pages, looked at the photos. Got home and bought it! It is amazing, the layout fantastic and the design ideas are superb. Working with needy clients this was the perfect companion for quick ideas of a different direction to take things if I were running short. With explanations of how the designs were created, you are left with little doubt what to do. I love it! Worth the money!!
