Reader Reviews:Brilliant small reference book on the Hurricane (4/4 people found this helpful)Tony Holmes's "Hurricane Aces 1939-40" is a fantastic reference book for any enthusiast of this famous fighter. As with all of Osprey's "Aircraft of the Aces" series the artwork is first rate and the text is detailed and informative. Combined with great pricing this is a marvellous book which covers the Hurricanes early war involvement in the Phoney War, the Blitzkrieg, the Battle of Britain, and the early defence of Malta and North Africa. Lots of famous Hurricane aces are covered, including "Cobber" Kain, Carey, Bader, Page and many more. This is a great little reference work which will prove to be of great worth to WWII enthusiasts and modellers alike.
