Reader Reviews:A classic (16/16 people found this helpful)A classic book, which although first published in 1971, is still full of relevant material for today's Bach laymen and practitioners. A wonderful introduction is followed by a full description of the thirty eight remedies. After each description there are many interesting case histories highlighting people's needs for each remedy which really helps to embed the individual properties of each one into your mind. They are very exciting to read and leave you inspired to try them out for yourself and on others. The combining of the remedy descriptions and case histories makes this book a real winner. It is one of my favourite Bach books and I would highly recommend it to anyone. SYNOPSIS Handbook of the Bach Flower Remedies is the latest addition to the series of Bach books. It is felt that it will be welcomed by the thousands of readers and followers of the system of healing discovered by Dr Edward Bach. The therapy employs remedies made from flowers, and these have the power to restore harmony to perturbed emotional states in man and animals. The present work, edited and compiled by Dr Philip M. Chancellor through the cooperation of the Bach Healing Centre, is ancillary to Dr Bach's basic work, The Twelve Healers and Other Remedies. It deals with prescribing in depth, and fulfils a need for more details in the practice of the Bach therapy. The Editor has added further emendations to clarify the use of each remedy and to make them more understandable for the everyday use of both the practitioner and the layman.
