Reader Reviews:Fascinating if sometimes a little patronising (2/3 people found this helpful)First of all, Pnina Werbner is a good writer, something that can't be taken for granted in an academic. Secondly, she has obviously spent a lot of time researching her subject and thinking about her interpretations of that research. The book takes us into a world few non-Pakistanis ever venture into: that of intracommunity politics. Her descriptions of this world are vivid and her ethnography accomplished.
