This book is almost great except for a couple of things. It doesn't have a CD to accompany it so you can't be sure if you're getting the tones right which is very important when speaking Cantonese. Also the book doesn't have the Chinese characters so when you show a native Cantonese speaker they can't help you with the pronunciation either, since they don't understand romanized Chinese!
I just don't understand how a language book can come without a CD.
