Reader Reviews:Good but not fab (0/1 people found this helpful)Got this as a present and was really looking forward to getting stuck in, but I just can't find anything I want to cook, it all takes so much time, I'm opting for Nigella's express book next- hopefully that will have something you can realistically cook after a long day at work!! A cookbook that should be in every kitchen (11/37 people found this helpful)I do think that you will have to look for a long time to find an equal fan of Jamie Oliver after me - but take my word for it anyway: This is one of the best cookbooks you'll ever put your hands and eyes on.
Jamie - what a cook! (5/27 people found this helpful)Jamie, as always brings together a blend of recipes which are so easy to cook - no 15 oz of this - just fling it in, mix it and pour it.
failsafe recipes for amateur cooks (18/35 people found this helpful)Having cooked almost every recipe in Jamie's Dinners I can vouch for this book. The food is nutritious, tasty and simple to make with clear instructions. Inspired recipes which will appeal to everyone include seared tuna steaks with basil cream on tomato bruschetta to squash, coconut and lime soup. Perfect for those who want to learn to cook decent dinners! Fantastic Recipies (13/36 people found this helpful)The Cod in Beer Batter (page 21) went down a storm in our house. The Ginger Chicken with noodles (page 68) was fantastic. There are 320 plus pages with lots of colour photographs, write ups, features, doodles(?) and hints and tips the actual step by step recipies seem few but even so an inspiring book. Perhaps not for the beginner. Similar ProductsHappy Days with the Naked Chef CategoriesAmazon.co.uk places this book into the following categories:
