Fantastic account of a lone woman's journey to India. (4/4 people found this helpful)
This book is an easy read. Nicola has not allowed her blindness to hinder her. Her journeys in India and her interest in researching the use of oils and alternative medicine prove to be a very interesting subject which she relates with a real depth of feeling. She succeeds in painting vivid pictures of colour and the sounds and smells almost jump out of each page.
A truly wonderful book written by a really remarkable and courageous lady. I recommend this book to all but specially to all those who feel that they haven't the courage to step out and try something different.
