What a joy to find a really useful travel book. It has good practical information, presented in a clear and logical way.
I can really believe Claire Foottit has travelled extensively around the country and is sharing her wide knowledge with the reader. I really enjoyed her look at the conflict between humans (the tourists) and the wildlife - it brings home how important responsible tourism is. The wealth of knowledge about the wildlife, how to best enjoy it, is complemented by a comprehensive list of places to stay etc. Each time I turn a page there is another gem and some of the photos are just so evocative (in particular the front cover).
