A hagiography (1/1 people found this helpful)

If you were unaware Ghanaian history and read this book you would think that all the faults in Ghanaian society were caused by Nkrumah's predecessors and successors. The reason why Nkrumah was overthrown? According to the author it was the corruption of the rebels. No mention is made of the poor perfroming economy or increasing dictatorial methods deployed by Nkrumah.

Having written this it must also be written that this is worth-reading for the facts. But read some Ghanaian history books too.
