This product is excellent for people who already have some background knowledge of the French language. It is especially helpful for those a little "out of touch" and who want to brush up on their skills. It would not be suitable for complete beginners, but I would recommend the guide if you can speak the language up to GCSE level or equivalent.
I utterly enjoyed using the study guide as it was very clearly laid out with lots of helpful grammar and vocabulary tips. Although I had not studied the language for several years I found I could quickly and accurately understand the tasks and questions included in the guide. It was also useful for revising important aspects of the French Culture and society, although such descriptions could have been a little more detailed.
Overall however, the guide provides a good basic overview of "La France et Les Francais."
