Reader Reviews:A tale to be treasured from the top of the world. (11/11 people found this helpful)More Mallory and Irvine? Yes, but Last Climb perfectly captures the romanticism and sad inevitability of this most famous of mountaineering adventures. Beautifully presented in hardback, Breashears and Salkeld write with clarity, common sense and reverence for these remarkable men. The story of Mallory and Irvine may be well documented but the inclusion of original black and white photos and Edward Norton's evocative watercolours make Last Climb a worthy entry in the chronicles of a true 20th Century odyssey.
