Reader Reviews:AS Student (1/2 people found this helpful)As an AS Latin student, I am very greatful to Ashely Carter for publishing this book! It is extrememly helpful in setting the standards for the unseen translation exam, and lets you know exactly what will be expected. And you can't trust anyone more than the chief examiner for both GCSE and A level Latin courses. excellent teaching tool (7/7 people found this helpful)For anyone who is preparing pupils to face AS and A level Latin unseen translation, this book is very helpful in indicating the standard of passages as well as giving a useful selection of the authors prescribed by OCR. The only thing it lacks is a section of mark schemes which would, of course, be helpful for the busy teacher! Despite the lack of these, it is an excellent teaching tool and, if you are a Latin teacher, it will make your life easier, especially if you are new to the OCR syllabus.
