Don't waste your money (0/0 people found this helpful)

You will not learn to speak Turkish with this it is just a phrase book on CD. You would do better to buy a good phrase book which you can carry around with you. It looks cheap and nasty and is.

Pocket guide for low price (2/2 people found this helpful)

This concise course is eactly what I wanted. There are other larger courses for home study but this one, as its description suggests is designed for those on the move. I put the two CDs onto my iPod and then used it on the train. After listening to the disks a couple of times I found the phrases started to be remembered. Good course.

Holiday guide for the beginner (0/0 people found this helpful)

These courses are designed from what I can see as a crash guide to the language. You can literally listen to the disks on the plane or train and then use the phrase book when you reach your destination. I found this and the other PR courses to be good value for money.

Very disappointed (6/6 people found this helpful)

Just a quick note to say how disappointed I was with this item.

This "book" is presented in a 2 disc DVD-style case with a sleeve that looks as though it has been designed by a school pupil and printed with a low-quality inkjet printer.

The CDs, like the sleeve, have very basic printing and look almost home-made.

The 20 page 'book' is little more than a pocket-sized leaflet, containing very small and faint text (as though it has been printed on a very poor photo-copier) making it very difficult to read.

The content on the CDs is no more than average.

So basically this item is very disappointing and, although cheaper than other similar items, at £10 I feel as though I've paid far too much!

If you're looking for a 'Learn to Speak Turkish' guide then I would suggest looking else where, even if it means paying more.
