This book is inaccurate due to over reliance on other historians. These sources and their bias are not acknowledged.
For instance Thomas Philip Earl de Grey is described as anti-Catholic, but this is a view put forward by the historian Donal Kerr who was a Maynooth Catholic Priest.
Recent research has called this into question - see for example Read, C - Earl de Grey.
To record this would be OK if we it was made clear where the information was coming from. As it is the book can be very misleading.
However it is an interesting attempt at the subject.
