It is clearly set out and packed with information as well as a variety of recipes (although British readers will rely heavily on the conversion charts at the back). Readers are encouraged to work out their own carb and calorie needs following instructions, and follow the weight loss plans accordingly. There are useful tips, and potential concerns regarding long term low-carbing are answered. Finally, this is one low-carb approach that encourages you to eat MORE fruit and vegetables, and allows whole grains - you do not have to give up all carbs and feast on fats forever!
