I own Mac OS X: The Missing Manual, Tiger edition, and it is a great book.
However, I wanted something more in depth, and I discovered that Mac OS X in a Nutshell, Panther edition, was just what I was looking for. So I waited until the Tiger edition came out.
Tiger in a Nutshell is not the sucessor to Panther in a Nutshell.
It's half the length, has loads of stuff omitted, and is aimed at unix geeks, not power users.
Don't buy this book unless you're a Unix Geek.
