I bought Director Game Development hoping to gain a clear insight on the method and process of creating games using object oriented Lingo programming. Unfortunately what you get is a book and CD with open source code and that's about it. I hate to do down others efforts but as an instructional text it really doesn't hit the mark - other Director developers I've spoken to agree. Save your money or look elsewhere if you're interested in Director Games development.
