Reader Reviews:Best Book on Amazon ! (2/2 people found this helpful)I have never written one of these reviews, however, I feel that this book deserves mention. I looked through all of the books in my (large) library and my (also large) 'borders', and this is by far the clearest, most well laid out, excellently descriptive book that I could find. It is so good in fact that I would go as far as to say it is one of the best books on any subject I have ever come across, so much thought has gone into making everything so clear and easy to understand, and explanations of complex topics are brilliant. - Buy it ! Good for starters (5/6 people found this helpful)I found this book easy to follow and use as a reference book so I would recomend it to anyone starting out on Flash. It is not for those already with a little knowledge on the subject though. I do not want to be an expert so what is contained in this book and with a little help from the Internet, I was up to my required speed in no time. Macromedia should use this book.... (2/5 people found this helpful)As a guide-line to how self-help books should be. Does the job... (10/10 people found this helpful)If you're looking for a readable and enjoyable step by step guide to learning the basic principles of Flash, then I can highly recommend this book. Previous to buying and reading the book myself, I had dipped into Flash and ran a mile. Now I feel well acquainted with the basics. Since reading the book, I am now very motivated to use Flash much more but do need more direction. I'm now going to buy Macromedia Flash MX 2004 Killer Tips by Shane Elliott to take things further. Superb (25/29 people found this helpful)Fantastic book! Takes you through each step bit by bit, everything is explained in an easy yet non-patronising manner. I bought this book to compliment a university course I was doing, and even the tutor said that if we didn't want to sign up for the next levels of the courseit didn't matter because the book was good enough to take you from beginner to advanced status.
