Reader Reviews:This is the prettiest book I have ever bought. (1/1 people found this helpful)There are the best pictures of how the dish is to be presented and the most satisfying easy, step-by-step directions of any Martha Stewart book so far. Martha does it again! Yipppppppppeeeeeeee! (1/1 people found this helpful)Perhaps her best work to date (Despite the bizzare pictures which accompany each chapter). Her drink recipes are a special treat! Each day I get home and make a large serving of her "cooly-nutty-vodka-toddy". I put it in one of those sports bottle things and spend the rest of the night drinking it down! Outstanding! I would love you to read it (0/0 people found this helpful)I haven't got it myself but my friend does and it is wonderful Fantastic! (0/2 people found this helpful)Ever wonder if "pathology" is a normative concept or an observer-independent fact about the biological world? Well, Martha tackles the problem with her usual gusto, pouring out recipe after recipe that speaks to this question and many more (including some that will help you entertain your hungry guests). Though tasty, her broccoli recipes really let my guests know up close and personal about what is normative and what is not: most of them spent the rest of the evening gobbling lomotil. Indeed, if you wonder about such things and are having a dinner or graduation party to boot, then get this book (you'll love the detailed photographs of diverticulitis). Pretty Pictures and interesting recipes (1/3 people found this helpful)That Martha. What a book! As soon as I got out of the bin I bought it and started sending hot hors d'oeuvres in business envelopes to the mayors of every important city in America. It was my way of demonstrating that, contrary to what Thomas Szasz has to say about the mentally "ill" like me, we are not malingerers. On the other hand, what would you expect from someone who ate tee fours like M & Ms before my incarceration? A gourmet chef? Well, perhaps, but this book has given a center to my life and I'm taking it to heart. In fact, I'm presently thinking of wrapping myself in bacon so that I can pass myself off as a lonely, but sincere scallop at the Woman's Club L'Affair Spring at the end of this month. I highly recommend this adorable book.
