What a shame! The authors have obviously gone to a lot of trouble to try and make a complex subject relatively easy to understand. At times they have adopted a "Dummies Guide" style approach to explaining various concepts and included plenty of examples to clarify the situation. Most of the time this works well - this is the first time I have read a book and actually understood how encryption works! So why oh why didn't they bother to proof read the book afterwards? It is LITTERED with mistakes... not just typos but misleading information which really hampers the learning process. I've read several MCSE books and to be honest they're all pretty bad in this respect but there's no excuse for it. I would have scored this book much higher if they'd bothered to give it more of a polish before publishing.

I was having problems with 70-290 exam using just the "official" microsoft book, until I bought this. If you like having too much information, this is perfect for you. At last, no surprises when taking test exams; no more "they didn't mention this in the book". Absolutely everything is in here, clearly written and reiterated when needed. May cost a bit for the book, but you will save in retest fees! Strongly recommended, even without the 2 hour instructor dvd - with it, you have a bargain.
