This book covers both the limited operational history of Tirpitz that was considered almost too valuable risk against British capitol ships after the lose of the Bismark and the many attempts to sink it.
These included attacks by conventional bombs, chariots, X craft and finally Lancasters will tallboy bombs.
A very good read.
