Merry Christmas Mr. Larry

This was a great read. I was with Larry when we went in to Maglai in BIH. I returned with another convoy several months later under a less hairy route. Larry was a star and could negotiate with the most ardent of fighters to get aid through.

"Merry Christmas, Mr. Larry" is the best book I have read on the subject of the Bosnia war. Hollingworth has managed to inject wit into his description of his time in the war torn country, without devaluing what was obviously such a time of hardship, death and destruction for the people of Bosnia Herzegovina and his fellow Aid-Workers. He is a born storyteller and I hope his tales do not end with this, his first book.
