Reader Reviews:Highly representative collection (15/15 people found this helpful)Minds at War, a collection which lives up exactly to its title, merits every possible attention. For the serious student or the general reader of the literature of this world clash, the book offers as wide a choice from the literary heritage of the Great War as one may hope for. It supplements this with a wealth of background information to the conflict, be it historical or biographical. Apart from poetry, it also contains diaries and letters, two forms which add to the diversity in the number of personal approaches the poetry offers in itself.
