I have to say that for me this was really an excellent read. Lawton's style generates such feeling that you begin to see the boxing world for much more than the bright lights and scandals. The ring is where champions are made and men with less character are forgotten. I found this book to be an insight to the mind of the boxer and James Lawton, of the Independant, is truely a master of words.
