Reader Reviews:The Best (0/0 people found this helpful)Great book, the history of the greatest motor race...all F1 fans will love it ! A superb historical portrait, beautifully photographed. (1/1 people found this helpful)What a superb book. I bought this book for my girlfriend and FI partner for Christmas and have just spent the afternoon deeply engrossed in it's pages, re-living the glorious racing history of Monaco. Every Monaco GP is covered by Michael Hewett with a short description of each wonderful photograph, the majority of which he has captured perfectly - on proper film cameras, too. I can't wait for Christmas Day when I can get my hands on it again to pick up where I left off! If you are a motor racing enthusiast or just appreciate the history of such a great place as Monte Carlo then I thoroughly recommend this book - and such great value as always from Amazon. No task too great (3/3 people found this helpful)This is an exquisite book. This has been done by a real photographer. It matters what the whole picture says. The task to get a good picture was not unsurmountable. His research for the photographs before his time has paid off and I do not think anyone else could top this book.
