Reader Reviews:Libby is unlikeable which is a big problem (0/0 people found this helpful)I like Jane Green's books, I really do despite how predictable they often are.
'Unputdownable' (2/2 people found this helpful)Much like some of the other reviewers, this was the first Jane Green book I ever read, and as a result of it she became one of my favourite authors! "Mr Maybe" tells the (painfully accurate) story of a woman faced with a (man-involved) dilemma. How will she choose between the rich, doting but clumsy-in-bed Ed? Or the smooth, living-on-the-dole Nick?
Great story! (4/5 people found this helpful)I listened to this in my car - infact I listened to it twice it was such a good book!
Great read (2/3 people found this helpful)A very girlie read and very amusing in a lot of places. I would definitely recommend this book to others as it's full of thoughts and ideas you'd love to say or do but wouldn't dare...
Excellant Book (3/5 people found this helpful)When i first starting reading this book it was like reading about my life, however, i'm not a snob like Libby is but the fact that i've had a few boyfriends like her and just want a fling was just how i see life at the moment! I don't mean to get too personal but lets just say i enjoyed the personal parts between Libby & Nick, it definately made me think that i could do with a "nick". Its a really feel-good book and i enjoyed every page to the end. Jane Green you've done yourself proud! More like it please.
