I was looking for a CD of Christmas carols for my four year-old, and was delighted when I saw this book & CD set.
The pictures alongside the carols and storyline are by Alex Aycliffe, the illustrator of other Lion hits for the toddler age group, as well as Dig dig digging and Choo-choo Clickety Clack.
All the old favourites are there (Away in a manger, Little Town of Bethlehem, Nowell nowell) and the score is there for those who can read music. The retelling of the nativity story is an added bonus.
There's a colourful CD with all the words - and the carols are sung by young children.
A real treat.
