Reader Reviews:Inspiring in Parts (2/2 people found this helpful)He's dedicated to his sport, hates publicity and is very down to earth. Compared to other autobiographies, this book is not as interesting. But, then again, he's still very young and hopefully there will be a few more chapters about his future success.
An Excellent Book (2/3 people found this helpful)I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband who is into his rugby and also because my kids are too! Although I'm not as mad on rugby as them, I thought i'd have a quick read as Johnnys quite a hunk and there are some great pictures of him in this book. However, I started reading bits of it and found it so fascinating that I couldn't put it down! It's a great insight into Johnny's mind and an inspiration for any young would-be rugby players. I'm really glad I bought it for him and would wholeheartedly recommend this to all Johnny fans. AWESOME!!! (1/2 people found this helpful)This is the best autobiography i have read. It is really interesting and you find out loads more about jonny. Well worth buying if you are intrested in the man or rugby in general. A book by a WINNER! Amazing guy. GREAT GUY & GREAT BOOK (0/1 people found this helpful)This book is outstanding! I didn't just enjoy this book...I was inspired and motivated by it! I didn't just read the words, I absorbed them and learnt from them. This is an attractive glossy book and is not 'war and peace' in length. But the words and information it does contain on; training, hard work, set backs, nutrition and most importantly his mind set, mind techniques and preparation strategy are excellent. It's longer than a magazine article and shorter than a novel. (thankfully!). But this book will change your life! IF you let it. If you follow this book and adopt Jonny's dedication you WILL do very well in any sport. EVERYONE must read this book. Only those that do “whatever it takes” like Jonny will excel at their sport, thos that bother to focus like Jonny. A GREAT book. I tell clients to read it and I highly recommended it in my own book. The book is worth the price just for the quotes from Jonny and discovering his superb favourite quotes. (If you read this book and think there is ‘nothing in it’ you have missed something. Big time. Take it from me, Jonny has written a “how to be successful guide”. If you write down your goals at 10 years old like Jonny, copy your heroes, work very hard EVERY session, party little, never give up, learn from the best, get the best advice in every area (and follow it) and train from morning till night, almost everyday! Including Christmas day……you WON”T fail to achieve something great!) What a true ledgend! (0/0 people found this helpful)This book is fantastic! It gives you a true view of the world cup hero and what he felt like at the time. Any true england fan should definatly read this book, as well as talking about the final, Johnny talks about who inspires him, the way he trians, his views on thigns and loads more!.
