A Brilliant Story (0/0 people found this helpful)

I served in the 'Black Boots' and met Dave Lemon only a couple of times due to the fact that I was in a different company and we were on operations constantly and only infrequently met other companies on R&R and retraining battle camps.
I picked up his book and read it in a single sitting. I was transported right back to those years and more than once shed a tear as memories came flooding back.
I dearly miss all my comrades in arms. The war was hell (is it anything else) but the camaraderie was what pulled us all together.
