Great story from Danielle Steel. This is one of the first novels I'd read of hers a few years back.
I've read this book more then once,( come to think of it I've read all her books more then once as I think she's a great author), the story was also released on video and DVD.
An easy read, it's a compulsive story, so be warned. It's like all her book, once you start reading it you can't put it down.
The story is set around a family that takes a trip on the Titanic when tragedy strikes; their family life is changed forever.
I don't want to tell you too much about the story as it will spoil it for you, and to me that wouldn't be fair.
A lovely and emotional novel by the great Danielle Steel.
A must for all fans and for people who have never read any of her books. Keep up the great work Danielle Steel. :-)

This is by far the best Danielle Steel book I have read. I also happen to like the subject of the Titanic, so both together is a winning combination!

Edwina showed great courage and strenghth, in looking after her siblings, even after the death of her parents. Book about great sacrifice, love and suffering. A very good insight into her emotional development, and her qualities in letting go when neccessry. One of d.s good books.

This is my all time favourite Danielle Steel...it is fantastic, the story puts you on the edge of your seat...you can't put it down...you'll cry more than once! You want to be there for Edwina... you will not want this book to end...it's brilliant. The film version is fab too....

Danielle at her very best .you really cried with edwina when she lost different members of her family . she never gave up despite all the odds.and for her to find happiness at the end of the book was brillant.
