Reader Reviews:A warning for the future (2/2 people found this helpful)Endearing and distressing, this book tells the story of the dying nomads of Kenya and Tanzania, pushed off their savannahs by drought and greed. Monbiot echoes Chatwin's skilled narratives of nomads and warns the reader of the negative outlook for the people who retain probably the most genuine existence of all mankind. A must-read.
